Dr. Meer Ahmed has been in dentistry for the past 15 years. A friendly and dedicated general dentist in Moon Township, PA, Dr. Ahmed enjoys getting to know his patients and takes his passion for dental care and his patients' smiles to heart. He believes in a personalized approach to every patient, establishing a genuine connection and providing excellent individualized care.
Before working as a dentist in Moon Township, Dr. Ahmed completed his education in India and pursued higher education from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. He worked and honed his clinical skills in renowned hospitals in Middle Eastern countries. To advance his career, Dr. Ahmed immigrated to the U.S. to study at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his Masters and Doctorate degree with many awards and honors.
Dr. Ahmed makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry through continuous education and active membership in several international organizations. His scope of dental expertise encompasses surgical extractions, root canals, crown and bridge treatments, implants, Invisalign, and removable dentures.
Dr. Ahmed believes he can make a difference in patients' lives by actively involving them in their treatment decision process and educating them on how to maintain a healthy smile — and a healthy body. When not working, Dr. Ahmed loves to come up with new recipes in the kitchen, travel with his family, and cuddle with his kids.
